Koru Painting

For the past couple of weeks Punui-o-toka has been making art. I have chose to make a Koru drawing. We made them for our calendar art!

Calendar Art 2016

21 of September my teachers wanted to start Calendar Art! Calendar Art is when you pick a type of art that you like, that a teacher shows you. I picked a picture of a black and white person with a colorful rainbow and a bright yellow sun! I was in Mrs Mcguinniety's group. We had to pick a partner to take the pictures with, and I picked Summer. We looked like Harry Potter when we took the picture, because we had a paintbrush that looked like a wand. Mason looked very like Harry Potter.  Then we drew the pictures on it and we painted it!
